At first glance,
A sullen, unknown glimpse
Of petrified insecurities.
The hollow heart becomes reborn,
With a subtle hint of surprise.
The cherry to finish a sundae,
The last candle to complete a cake,
Anything full of jovial bliss.
The classic love story brought to life:
Bewildered, brave, complete.
The second glance,
Filled a half empty glass
Of creamy delight.
Falsified fear is simply
Placed aside like a useless garment.
Like two rings forever,
Linked together with a clank.
The mind wanders frantically,
Whizzing by like a jet plane,
Zipping joyously in the air.
It shifts from a zone
Of utmost chaos,
A frenzy of feasting beasts,
And into order,
An angelic, tasteful pleasure.
Sweet dreams exchanged
From even the simplest of pecks,
Lips barely touching,
A burning desire eating away
At the core of a mighty lover.
Even the weakest of knees buckle,
Feeling the omnipotent prowess,
Of utter ecstasy.
The imagination taking flight
Into a world of carnal temptations.
Enlightened hues entwine,
Two souls,
Shaping and forming,
Into one.
What one thinks,
So does the other.
Not a word had to be spoken,
But hushed whispers still emit,
Those velvety hands interlocking.
Excitement.
